The 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC is a left-hand drive drophead coupe that underwent a comprehensive restoration from 2010 to 2015. The vehicle received an extensive overhaul, including the complete disassembly and refinishing of the body in Arbor Green.
Engine and Performance
The car features a rebuilt 3.4-liter inline-six engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission were expertly restored, ensuring smooth and powerful performance. The C-Type cylinder head was also overhauled by Vintage Jag Works, highlighting meticulous craftsmanship.
Interior and Additional Features
The interior showcases luxurious beige upholstery, low-back bucket seats, and color-coordinated Wilton wool carpets. The dashboard and door panels are adorned with refreshed burl wood trim. A rearview mirror, heater, and lap belts are among the additional appointments enhancing the driving experience. The vehicle also boasts dual SU carburetors, a bell stainless steel dual exhaust system, and 16″ Dayton wire wheels.
